Fujifilm has announced significant price increases across its camera and lens lineup, with hikes reaching up to $800 for certain models. The popular X100VI camera's price rose from $1,599 to $1,799, while the X-T5 increased from $1,699 to $1,899. The high-end GFX100 II saw an $800 jump, from $7,499 to $8,299. Lens price increases are more modest, ranging from $50 to $150. These changes coincide with impending tariffs set to take effect on August 7th, affecting imports from China and Japan. Fujifilm's supply chain shifts and tariff negotiations have influenced these price adjustments, which are expected to be permanent. Other camera makers like Leica and Canon have also raised prices in response to these tariffs.
