Apple's iPhone and Mac Sales Surge Amid Growing RAM Shortages

Apple's iPhone and Mac sales continue to climb despite a global memory shortage that is pressuring device manufacturers. In its Q3 earnings report, Apple announced a 22% increase in iPhone sales, reaching $54.25 billion, and a 29% rise in Mac sales, hitting $10.35 billion. This strong performance helped boost the company's total revenue to $109.4 billion. However, Apple cautions that supply chain issues will likely worsen in the upcoming months, with expected constraints affecting iPhone, Mac, and iPad production. CFO Kevan Parekh highlighted these challenges during the earnings call, emphasizing the significant impact the shortage could have on their product lines.
