US Appeals Court Confirms Pentagon's Supply Chain Risk Label on Anthropic

A US appeals court has affirmed the Pentagon's classification of Anthropic as a supply chain risk, preventing the military and its contractors from using Anthropic's Claude AI models. The DC Circuit court of appeals, in a 2-1 decision on Friday, rejected Anthropic's petitions challenging the designation. The ruling was authored by Circuit Judge Gregory Katsas.
