TikTok Considering Peer-to-Peer Payments Through Direct Messages

TikTok is reportedly testing a new feature that would allow users to send peer-to-peer payments within direct messages. This system would leverage TikTok Pay, a payment service currently available in Southeast Asia for transactions on TikTok Shop.
