Tesla recently saw the departure of two key executives. Omead Afshar, who led operations in North America and Europe and was close to Elon Musk, was reportedly fired following a 20% year-over-year sales drop in Tesla’s automotive division. Afshar’s tenure began in 2017. Additionally, Milan Kovac, VP leading the Optimus humanoid robotics team, left to spend more time with family. Tesla also denied hiring Henry Kuang, a reported leadership candidate for AI and autonomous driving roles, correcting earlier reports.
