Logitech has confirmed that nearly all of its webcams are compatible with the Nintendo Switch 2’s new GameChat feature, except for the Logitech Brio 4K. Nintendo Switch 2 users can use Logitech webcams seamlessly to video chat with friends during gaming. The initial launch of Nintendo Switch 2 caused uncertainty among webcam manufacturers about compatibility, as Nintendo did not provide guidelines and some webcams that were expected to work did not function. Logitech spokesperson Leila Lewis clarified that the Brio 4K lacks compatibility due to its Windows Hello security features. Other manufacturers like Elgato and Ugreen are working on firmware updates to support specific models, while others like Insta360 and Anker are still evaluating compatibility. Enthusiasts have also found unofficial methods to get Brio 4K working with some risks involved.
