T-Mobile is expanding its fiber internet service to over 500,000 households in the US, introducing three new plans with symmetrical speeds up to 2 Gbps. Launching June 5th, the plans include Fiber 500 (500 Mbps) for $80/month, Fiber 1 Gig (1 Gbps) for $95/month, and Fiber 2 Gig (2 Gbps) for $110/month, each offering a $5 discount for autopay via debit or bank account and a five-year price lock. This expansion follows T-Mobile’s joint venture with Lumos and upcoming acquisition of Metronet, aiming to reach 12-15 million households by 2030 and challenge competitors like AT&T and Verizon. A special Fiber Founders Club plan with a 10-year price lock is also available for select locations at $75/month ($70 with autopay).
