Razer has unveiled the HyperFlux V2, a wireless charging mousepad compatible with several models in its current wireless mouse lineup. Unlike the original HyperFlux, which was bundled with the Mamba HyperFlux mouse, the V2 version works with mice like the Basilisk V3 Pro 35K, Basilisk V3 Pro, Cobra Pro, and Naga V2 Pro using an adapter puck that enables continuous battery charging. Priced at $119.99, it comes in two versions: a hard surface available now, and a softer cloth surface expected later this year. The pad also serves as a receiver to wirelessly connect Razer mice and keyboards to a PC via USB using proprietary HyperSpeed technology, although it cannot wirelessly charge keyboards. The design and function bear resemblance to Logitech’s Powerplay system, with Razer currently clarifying details regarding their technology.
