Leaked hands-on photos of Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 reveal a thinner and more streamlined design compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy Z Fold 6. The new foldable is expected to be about 4.5mm thick when open, slimmer than the previous model’s 5.6mm thickness, allowing it to better compete with rivals like Google and Oppo. The images show a redesigned camera array with slim silver rings and a striking blue color option, possibly the ‘Blue Shadow’ variant. The phone reportedly maintains the same battery life of up to 40 hours and 28 minutes, features an IP48 rating for water resistance, and includes detailed elements like a SIM tray and updated speaker placements. Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Z Fold 7 alongside the Z Flip 7 and potentially a new trifold phone at the Unpacked event on July 9th.
