Google’s AI-powered note-taking app, NotebookLM, now allows users to share their notebooks publicly via a link. While viewers cannot edit the notebooks, they can interact with AI-generated elements such as audio overviews, briefings, and FAQs. Initially launched as an experiment in 2023, NotebookLM helps users understand content from notes, documents, slides, and YouTube videos through AI-generated summaries and podcast-style discussions. Sharing is similar to Google Drive, enabling sharing via a public link or email, with the latter allowing editing permissions. Users can also share audio overviews through the Gemini app.
