Riley Testut, the developer of the popular Delta emulator for iOS, has introduced Delta Camera, a new app for iPhone that emulates the iconic Game Boy Camera’s low-res, monochromatic photo style. The app is currently in beta for Patreon subscribers and will be released fully later this year. Delta Camera mimics the original 1998 Game Boy Camera’s 128×128-pixel sensor with four shades of gray while adding modern features such as brightness and contrast adjustments, multi-shot panoramas, manual exposure, zoom controls, front and back camera support, and compatibility with the iPhone 16’s Camera Control button. This app offers a nostalgic yet convenient way for users to capture and share retro-style images on social media without needing the physical Game Boy Camera accessory, which still works with devices like the Analogue Pocket.
