Apple has officially launched its online retail store in Saudi Arabia, enabling customers to browse and purchase Apple products directly for the first time. The online store features Arabic language support and engraving options. Alongside this digital expansion, Apple plans to open its first physical retail stores in Saudi Arabia in 2026. Prior to this launch, Saudi customers could only buy Apple products through authorized resellers. This move is part of a larger trend of increased investment in Saudi Arabia by major tech companies, despite ongoing human rights concerns in the region. The expansion coincides with Saudi Arabia’s initiatives to boost its tech sector, including the establishment of AI company Humain backed by the Public Investment Fund and partnerships with US tech giants like Amazon, Google, Nvidia, and AMD.
