Apple has reintroduced its Apple Intelligence-powered notification summaries for news and entertainment apps with the release of the fourth developer beta of iOS 26, according to MacRumors. This feature, which was temporarily disabled earlier this year due to incorrect headline summaries, allows users to receive condensed notifications. During setup, users can opt to have their notifications summarized, but Apple cautions that summaries may alter the original headlines’ meaning and contain errors, as the feature is still in beta. Additionally, the new beta enhances the Liquid Glass design elements, making them appear more translucent. A public beta of iOS 26 is expected around July 23, as noted by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
