I’ve been using the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 for the past week, and I finally understand the appeal of folding phones. The Z Fold 7 is incredibly slim and user-friendly, changing my perspective on the category. This is perfect timing as phones with dual hinges seem imminent. Huawei pioneered the concept, but Samsung is gearing up to launch its trifold soon, and Tecno, a Chinese brand, has showcased an exciting concept. I’m all for these innovations. While I still appreciate smaller phones like my iPhone 13 Mini, the trend towards larger, foldable devices is captivating.
