T-Mobile has officially launched its Starlink-powered satellite service, called “T-Satellite,” which is now available to users across the US, including non-T-Mobile customers. The service, out of beta, currently supports text messaging and location sharing, with plans to add voice messages and satellite-optimized app connectivity in the future. T-Satellite is accessible for $10 per month temporarily before increasing to $15, and is included in select T-Mobile plans. The service automatically connects devices in areas without cellular coverage, with compatibility for over 60 devices including recent iPhones, Google Pixels, and Samsung Galaxy models. This service leverages over 650 Starlink satellites covering the continental US and nearby regions, with ambitions to expand internationally. Comparable offerings by Apple, Google, Verizon, and AT&T exist but vary in device support and availability.
