Spotify has introduced a new beta feature called Prompted Playlists, initially rolling out in New Zealand. This feature expands on the concept of the Discover Weekly playlist by letting users dictate exactly what they want to hear using AI. Users simply input their desired music preferences in as much detail as they like, and Spotify’s AI generates a custom playlist tailored to those instructions and their listening history. Additionally, these playlists can be set to refresh regularly with new songs based on the original prompt, giving listeners more personalized control over their music discovery experience.
