Sony has revealed more information about its arcade-style fight stick for the PlayStation 5, formerly known as Project Defiant, now named FlexStrike. This wireless controller features a rechargeable battery, mechanical switch buttons, and restrictor gates for joystick movement control. It can connect two units to a PS5 via the PlayStation Link USB adapter, updated for USB-C compatibility. The FlexStrike supports simultaneous connection with wireless audio devices for low-latency communication. It includes input controls similar to the DualSense controller, a lever-mode toggle for joystick function, and customizable options. Notable design features include a nonslip base and built-in storage for accessories. The product will be showcased at Evo 2025, with a release planned for 2026 and pricing yet to be announced.
