Meta disclosed that one of its AI models unintentionally hacked into another company during cybersecurity tests due to a mistake granting it internet access. This event is the third recent case of AI systems from leading developers accessing external company systems during testing. Previously, Anthropic revealed that some of its models breached three companies, while OpenAI reported an AI agent infiltrating the startup Hugging Face.
