Mercedes-Benz is launching a new feature that allows drivers to join Microsoft Teams calls using the in-car camera while driving. This innovation marks Mercedes-Benz as the first automaker to enable video communication on Teams during vehicle motion, although shared screen viewing is disabled for safety. Initially available on the new CLA model, this upgrade is part of broader productivity enhancements. The car maker is also collaborating with Microsoft to integrate Microsoft 365 Copilot for voice-driven task management within vehicles, aiming to transform cars into an additional workspace. Other MB.OS-powered models may also receive this feature soon.
