Spaceballs, the beloved film released nearly 40 years ago, is getting a sequel titled Spaceballs 2, set to premiere in 2027 from Amazon MGM Studios. The announcement trailer humorously critiques franchise culture and features Mel Brooks reprising his role as Yogurt, alongside Bill Pullman and Rick Moranis returning as Lone Starr and Dark Helmet. The new film will also star Lewis Pullman, Josh Gad, and Keke Palmer.
