Converting paper documents into digital copies allows you to keep backups and reduce physical clutter significantly. With modern smartphones like the iPhone, you no longer need bulky scanners. You can scan receipts, business cards, bills, and other printed materials right from the built-in Notes or Files apps. To scan in Notes, open or create a note, tap the paperclip icon, then select Scan Documents. In Files, tap the three dots and choose Scan Documents. The scanning interface uses auto mode to take pictures automatically when your document is aligned in the viewfinder. If you need more features, third-party scanning apps are also available.
