The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have added their voices to those of AI experts and Nobel Prize winners in advocating for a ban on the creation of superintelligent AI systems. This group calls for a moratorium on artificial superintelligence (ASI), AI that would surpass human intelligence in all cognitive functions, until there is broad agreement that it can be developed safely.
