Google Chrome for iOS now allows users to switch easily between personal and work profiles, keeping data such as browsing history, tabs, and passwords separate. This feature is available through Google’s enterprise software package, enabling employees of companies using Chrome Enterprise to sign in to managed work accounts and toggle between profiles within the browser. IT administrators can monitor security and restrict websites on the work profile. Unlike iOS, Android handles work profiles at the device level across all Google apps, not within the Chrome browser itself. Non-enterprise users cannot switch between multiple Google accounts on mobile browsers, a feature only available on desktop versions.
