Anthropic has developed an AI system that identified thousands of zero-day vulnerabilities across all major operating systems and web browsers. This discovery led the Federal Reserve chair and Treasury secretary to directly engage with bank CEOs to address the urgent security risks. The company warns of a critical six-to-twelve month period to fix these vulnerabilities before adversaries potentially develop AI models to exploit them.
