Anthropic has rolled out Claude Opus 4.8 just 41 days after the previous version 4.7, highlighting the rapid advancements in AI technology. This update brings improved judgment capabilities and reliability, with users reporting that the model now acknowledges uncertainty, avoids fabricating information, and identifies its own programming errors. According to Anthropic, the model is four times less prone to missing bugs. The release also introduces a Dynamic Workflows research preview, enabling the AI to break down large coding tasks into parallel processes, resulting in faster outputs. Pricing remains unchanged, with a faster mode available at a lower cost. Meanwhile, Anthropic’s advanced Mythos model is yet to be launched.
