Campfire, an AI-driven accounting startup based in San Francisco, has raised $65 million in a Series B round just months after its Series A funding. Accel and Ribbit Capital co-led the round, bringing Campfire’s total funding to $103.5 million since its start in 2023. The fast fundraising pace is unusual, driven by prior connections between CEO John Glasgow and Accel partner John Locke from their time at Invoice2go. Campfire aims to build AI-native ERP software for modern finance and accounting teams, scaling rapidly with a current team growth from 10 to 40 employees. Following the Series A led by Accel in June, interest from Accel’s portfolio and other companies surged, leading to the new funding to support high market demand. Campfire counts companies like Decagon and Replit among its customers amidst a growing venture interest in next-gen ERP solutions.
